Default Good deal or no?

I've been searching around for an 03/04 Cobra to buy in the near future. I've found one that I think is a pretty good deal. Heres the rundown on it....

2004 Black SVT Cobra
$28,000
7,600 miles
Steeda catback exhaust
Steeda CAI
Underdrive Pulley
Diablosport Programmer

The guy that owns it is 55 years old and says its never been driven in the rain and always garaged. Used as a weekend car. He's gonna hold it for me with a small deposit until I can pay him the rest that I owe. So good deal or no? Price is still on the high end, but its probably been taken good care of and a good base to start from since its almost stock.

IF youre ever going to overpay for a car, make sure that you are overpaying for a LOW MILEAGE car is my philosophy.

28K is alot of money, but you are getting a car that likely is almost as good as new.

Good luck man. I'd LOVE a 03-04 Cobra.

the good price is probably due to the salvage title, which i would stay away from.

I noticed on a couple of those ebay cars that they had a low bid on it... but still had a really high buy it now price. The red one with just a $20k bid, I didn't see a reserve on it.... but if thats all it sells for, then there has to be something up with that car. I've not seen an 03/04 priced lower than $22k and that normally means they have at least 40k-60k miles on them. Plus, I'm just looking for a coupe so verts don't interest me.

I just bought my 04 cobra(stock) for $24.8k with 11k miles on it. The car has some minor rock chips but other than that it is flawless. 28k for that car seems like a fair price. Just make sure you carfax it and see if you can talk him a little on the price.
