I was driving back home today and I see in my mirror coming up in the fast lane what looks like 02-04 GT coming pretty fast. It gets right beside me and I see a Saleen graphics on the passenger side door. 
First thought, giving the benefit of the doubt, that maybe he was just tryin to be a sleeper. Well, the rear bumper is just like the GT's as is the front end. GT badges on it like normal. Guess he thought the Saleen made him look faster and maybe add about 15-20 HP lol.

lol man here in town there is a v6 mustang with cobra are body kit and it even has dual exhuast out the sides lol i love seein that car a rolling up on it n he just looks straigh ahead why do ppl waist money why dont they just get a gt or something better no puttin the v6 but puttin the ones that dress them up as something esle

There was a "cobra" at the last car show I went to. For some reason, this cobra had a GT dash cluster, V6 wheels, GT seats, and the hood never got opened

idk, it doesn't sound all that bad to me....ok he's a gt and
he threw some saleen stickers on his ride......hmmm not

Some people may not agree with what I'm about to post... but if you change your front end to a cobra front end... I think thats ok. Its a better lookin front and its not some body graphics that doesn't belong on it. Same as the chin spoiler that people get that the Mach 1's have... thats fine as long as you you still have a GT, don't advertise that its a Mach 1. If this guy would've just had a regular graphics on it w/o Saleen written on it, it would've been fine IMO. Just don't advertise what your not.

They were definatly trying to hide what was under the hood, but not because it was badass. They didn't want anyone seeing that v6/2v under there instead of the DOHC motor.
