Default crank pulley

I'm doing underdrive pulleys on my 04' 4.6 GT and the crank pulley isn't coming off, even with an impact. Does anyone know if it is reverse threaded? Thanks

You are using a harmonic balancer pulley tool aren't you?

Im trying to get the bolt out first. Then I'll use the harmonic pulley tool afterwards. so yes.

Do you know if it is reverse threaded?

no, it's not... we used a breaker bar and a lot of strength...

Or a breaker bar with a piece of pipe on the end for more leverage, good luck.

Ya it was a pain in the *** trying to get it off. We ended up putting the belt back on with the old pulleys, except the alt pulley, that was steeda. We tried for hours trying to get it off. No luck. Finally we put the belt back on and drove it down to pep boys. They told us just leverage and such. We had already tried it and still no luck. Finally back at the house, with the belt still on, and leverage, I pulled hard and it finally gave way. It was a pain in the *** but I am happy that they are finally on. Good luck man.

We finished it. It was kind of wierd actually. There was a washer on it and it kept turning too. I don't know exactly cause my friend was under the car when we were taking it off, but once we held the washer, it came off rather easily with some PBblaster. Everything else went smoothly. Thanks for your help guys.
