Default engine noise

the other day i was just riding around because i was bored... then when i turned off the radion i heard something different... my car sounded like an old GMC truck from the inside... like when i barely press the pedal i can hear it alot... it might be normal but its really pissing me off!!!! if it isnt normal please tell me....

You need to be a little more descriptive...is it coming from the engine/exhaust is it a rattle or what? Describe it the best you can.

personally i dont know what old GMC truck sounds like. What kind of sound is it, and where exactly is it comming from

its from the engine.. there is nothing rattling ... i really dont konw how to explain it more than an old gmc truck... maybe think of an old ford truck.. you know it could be the exhaust because i have an o/r H and slp lm1 ... its not like the engine is effing up its just that the engine runs louder

so is it like a loud rumbling noise or something, i had my exhaust pipe weld break once b4 i got my magnaflows, and it gave the exhaust a real deep rumble tone, kinda like an old truck i guess, id look at ur exhaust first if i were u

could be an exhaust leak, jack car up and listen and feel for hot air that could be it, if it is all of a sudden.

Are you lugging the engine perhaps? If I lugged the engine in my GT or my Cobra it would sound like a MAC truck about to explode.

It means bogging it down...like trying to accelerate from 20 in 5th. And if I try to do that in my cobra, it sounds and feels like a frickin Peterbuilt.
