new clutch.. under or not under bumper 2 bumper warrenty?

i had a warranty on my truck and it coverd a new tranny, from the clutch to all the internals. It was an extended warranty I purchased from dealer. Although if you have done any mods to your car they will do everything they can do get out of covering it. I worked at a dealership for three years and saw it all the time.
