No matter what year, and no matter what shifter, you can destroy a stock mustang transmission powershifting and speedshifting.

I went thru 2 t-45 with a steeda triax before I gave up on them and got the TKO. The 45 in particular doesn't like quick shifting, but shifting real hard will destroy any of them in the end.

Just make sure you realise that you will damage the transmission eventually shifting hard, espcially in anything equipped with the T-45 (99-01 1/2?)

The syncs simply suck. Even the 3650 is not that great (though better). All you need to do is miss a shift one time, or just slam it into gear hard at the wrong time, and the 45 is on it's way out.

You don't have to tell me about the 45, I think mine is on it's way out... So I've been babying it a lot more.
