Default headlights--reputable source

ok fellow experts, i need a reputable source for 99+ smoked headlights ( euro or amber). I recently purchased a Euro set from a relatively well known site and paid over $220 for them. Unfortunately they did not fit properly ( large gaps beween the light assembly, specifically the rubber molding and the fender), needless to say i was very disappointed with this outcome, particularly after shelling out all that $. what recommendations do you have in terms of other sources?

I already priced out OEM from ford ( $130 each lamp) which I am considering since i willnot have to deal with quality/fit issues. I have little faith in aftermarket given my experience with fit/quality for what I have received.
