I have been told that they don't use the IMRC plates on the later heads. But I have never confirmed it for myself. One of them herd it from a friend who herd it from his deaf dumb and blind uncle kind of thing.

you are correct they dont use imrc it was deleted after 98 i learned this from david-k from using the search feature

Sounds like you forged your bottom end, therefore you really aren't interested in doing a complete cobra engine swap? I was readin' a post about this a little bit ago... someone said that they wasn't sure if the coolant passages would line up.

i read that also but then i saw someone who said they have a write up on how its done and a list of pArts to do iy and i cant find it for anything again so i am basically just needing a list of needed parts
