ATTN: ALL MACH 1 DRIVERS
I found out the best way to preserve that beautiful black shaker.
When your shaker starts to turn that grey color, and starts fading. Put some tire shine on it.
Has anyone else tried this? I didnt think it would work. But last month, I took my car through the car wash, and i asked the guy to rub some tire shine on the shaker, just to see what would happen.
Well it has been a Month, and it is still nice and black, And water even beads up on it and runs off like it's waxed or something.
Just thought I would share.

I did the exact same thing a couple weeks back for my mach. It looks beatiful now but I am worried that it might cause increased fading over time. Also, I've heard other mach owners say that they take off and spray paint the shaker. Don't know that I'd do that, either. As long as tire shine or armor all don't disentegrate the shaker, it's all good in my book.
