Default Clutch noise when in neutral and off the pedal

when i am idleing and in neutral i hear a hallow bearing type noise that goes away the second i step on the clutch, normal?? does all 3650 do this or is something going out.... it has been doing it since i got the car over 10k ago

I may be wrong but according to your description it sounds like your throw out bearing.

yes if it goes away as soon as you push in the clutch its more then likely the throw out bearing

yep i have had that same problem for about 5K miles know. Its so annoying but dont have $$ to fix it.

i have had the same problem for about 12000 miles or so as soon as I barely touch the pedal it stops. One of my buddies who is a mechanic said it was the throw-out bearing....

yea its a really common problem and it can happen with a brand spankin new clutch you just never know its only about a 20 dollar fix if you do the labor yourself but its a pain in the rear for just a damn bearing
