I bought my 04 GT at the very beginning of the year and I already had to take it back to the dealership in March because of a creaking noise in the steering that kept getting louder and louder. They said that there were some loose bushings and they just had to tighten them to fix the problem.
Now a few months later I just heard the noise coming back again (and the windshield wipers run when they feel like it but that's another agravating story). Has anybody else had any noise or problems with their steering?

If they tightened all the rod ends and now they are making noise, sounds like they wore down and are damaged now.

Make them replace it. The dealership should KNOW that they are supposed to inspect NEW vehicles. Crap happens like this from the factory all the time..

i had the same prob with my 04 a couple months ago. tehy also said it was loose bushings and they tightened them. everythings ok now

FYI bushings don't just "loosen up".

Also, if your suspension is alright and you still get a creeking noise, assuming you have aluminum wheels, get the car up in the air, loosen the lugs and then tighten & retorque them. I had this nasty creeking noise in my Iroc-z, totally replaced the front suspension with OEM parts and wouldn't go away, upgraded to all performance suspension when I finally realized, hey I wonder if they torqued my wheels down...dammit!!!
