Default mach1 really worth the extra cash?

i dont own a mustang yet but im hopefully looking to pick up a GT or the mach1 if the price is nice enough. you mach1 owners, glad you got the 305 horses instead of the GT's 260?

I think so, although if you get the prices down a GT will cost 5-6k less seeing as they won't want to mark down the Mach. But if you're into going fast and being different go for the Mach.

I perfer the GT over the mach. Take that extra cash and supercharge the GT.

Hell ya the mach is worth the extra $$$. When i went to buy my stang, i had the choice of 20 for the gt or 23 for the mach. The mach was good for me cuz i dont want to do too many mods and i want to keep my prem. warranty good. Its all a matter of opinion though. The GT is a really nice car, but if your gonna stay close to stock the mach is a lot quicker. Plus with the mach you got a very unique mustang with a great history. The main difference is the engine, 3.55s, suspension, (Mach is lower with heavier springs, has sfc and tockicos) the pbr brakes which i really like, the look is really awsome to.

Id personally go with the gt. This is just my opinion but mach1s are a little more rare so its cool if more of them are stock. Machs usually run low-mid 13s, gts are high13-low14s so itll give ya an idea of where your gonna start.
