For me just to even think about headers I need to know if I could do mid length? I know I cant do LT because of emissions. So would it be worth it to do midlengths? And how much in total would I be looking at spending?

Yeah a catted mid pipe and ull probally pass.
Oh yeah i had to say this yesterday i head the best, loudest exhaust ever, 97 z28 he had shorites, catless y pipe into Flows and dumps. He reved it when we left this chicks house at like 3am and woke up all the neighbors.

Mids and LT's are illegal so it depends on where you live and how they do inspection. I would fail for them in NJ so i went with shorty's.
