Default Nitrous

Hello guys, I am gettin pretty tired of my slow 2v losing. Its time for me to go forced induction. I was wondering if I should go and get me a 100 shot wet kit or save up forever and get a blower. WHich one is safer? How safe is nitrous with our motor, will it blow it up like everybody says? Alotta people told me that a blower, even at 8 psi will eventually break the motor cuz the .02 pistons. Any input would be appreciated, thanx

IMHO, you can go either way. I personally am spraying because I need some cheap hp. The nitrous will only be hard on the engine when you are spraying. Otherwise you will be just on regular wear and tear. You do have to tune the car though. In general with a good tune, you should be fine up to 100 shot. After that, you are playing w/ fire until you forge the internals.

A blower on the other hand is constant power that doesnt need filled every week. It is more expensive and of course you also HAVE to tune it as well.

It is your call. If you are low on cash, spray it. IF you are willing to save a long time, I would blow it.

a engine is a air pump, i still think Nitrous is a better way togo any way u look at it, it will save or make your motor last longer, they both add about 100hp but the difference is i never use nitrous unless i need or want to, therefore will make my motor last longer where the S/C is always on and always shortening the life of your motor, my buddy had a real saleen with the saleen charger and only got 86k out of the motor before he spun a rod, you will floor is more with the S/C on the car vs. I will floor it all the time also and when i want to go really fast hit a button...... just my .02 on this i run 100 venom shot with a special sct tune 24lb injectors with 1 step colder plugs and its a hell of a thing to drive.....

I noticed you had 24# injects, is it necessary to upgrade your injects for a 100 shot?
