But seariouly A blower and some n2o is probally a better more cost effictive option.
it is definately possible to go into low 11s or even 10s with a 2v. However, you will need to strengthen your bottom end to be able to handle the boost. N20 would help a lot also. However, all of this wouldnt do **** if you dont have a kick *** suspension. Stock mustang suspensions are horrible but they can be made into great track cars. The parts are all out there, you are only limited by how much you want to spend. I've seen a 260 rwhp stang run mid 12s. All he had was weight reduction (a lot), and a great suspension.

in a magazine i saw a GT w/ a vortec supercharger w/ some pretty good psi and all the bolt ons (no heads and cams) make 430+ horsepower or soemthiung like that w/ full suspension run 11.6, w/ slicks so its possible

Last time i saw a video from MDvaldosta he was running 11.4x's.... and i think all he had was a used vortech with full exhaust, 4.10s and a relativly cheap suspension set up.... oh yeah and some MT's.

I haven't yet but I plan to get in the High 11s with 400rwhp, stock block and internals, with a BAD A$$ suspension and sticky tires. Oh and shave off at least 100 unneccessary lbs.
You don't need a bad *** suspension to run 11s on 400~ WHP, or the stock shortblock, or the stock tranny for that matter:

I think he says somewhere he has 500 in the suspension. he has the same (cheap) upper and lower control arms as I do (blueovalindustries).

400~ WHP is plenty. If we get lucky this weekend I just might have a video to show of a low 12 second timeslip as well.
