No, I don't get ANY sounds coming from my shaker. Your shaker's not beating against the side of the hood opening, is it?

I had this problem a while after I installed the shaker extention, there is an easy fix, Under the shaker there are 4 teflon posts that support the shaker, these posts insert into 4 rubber bushings on the bottom of the shaker assembly, you can just replace the 4 rubber bughings, or what I did was went to an auto parts store and bought a tube patch kit and trimed the rubber patch to fit in the rubber bushing to take of the slack.
Total cost 2.99, time to do was about 45 mins... hope this helps..

Those are the rubber bushings(Hood scoop insulators) I was refering to.
