Alright so this local dyno was having a special last saturday. 2 pulls for $40 so i figured what the heck. Got my car on there and the first pull (with the diablo tuner on) i got 189 hp and 220 trq. Sound a little strange to you for a gt with full bolt ons. My second pass was without the tuner and i got 209 hp at the wheels. I was like uh yeah that cant be right. They told me " i dunno maybe you're not that fast." I was like yeah . . . He said they did a bone stock 04 gt earlier that day that pulled 239 at the wheels. I was like i run all over gt's all day long. I just raced an 06' the night before and killed him. Needless to say they wouldnt admit that it could have been an error and later on that day i talked to a guy that worked at the dyno and he said it was an error but they wouldnt admit it. They f'd up on the altitude corrections and if it was up to him id get my money back. He said cars like mine pull 260 to 280 all day long. I was like i know ive dyno'd before. Ive just done pullies and a few little things since then. It was funny though becuase all night i was having fun with my buddies and everytime id pull away from someone id be like hey i beat you with only 200 hp haha! I did get two usefull bits of info from this experience and thats 1) Im running too lean (so i riched things out) and 2) My car makes 20 more hp with the diablo tuner off than with it on.

Yeah i was hoping for upwards of 270 but wasnt realistically thinking id get more than something like 265 or so. Its DLStangs and they just got their dyno so i guess they're still getting used to it.

Yeah really. When i tried to talk to the manager about it he said hold on then he slipped out the back door and took off. The other guys said they couldnt do anything about it and they had a waiting list so they couldnt pull me again. They messed up on this other dude too. He had a 700 rwhp racecar camaro and he had just had it dyno'd a few weeks ago (somewhere else) and got 734 rwhp and he dyno'd it at this place and got 350. haha i thought that was funny but he was really pissed and refused to pay.

Plenty of people have installed handheld tunes, go to a dyno and the factory tune is installed again & the car makes more HP.

Those canned tunes are pure garbage, they should *only* be used to get from your house & to the dyno for tuning. That's just my opinion.
