Default About 4.6 manifold

I know that the plastic 4.6 manifolds on 2000 and below cars is prone to cracking. Mine is fine right now, but some guy I met had one with the aluminum crossover laying around. He says he will sell it to me for $30. I'm thinking of getting it as good insurance against a cracked manifold. Are all 4.6 manifolds with the aluminum crossover PI? I don't know what car it came of from, will it be less effective if it didn't come from a mustang? Is it worth the effort eventhough my manifold is fine?

Yeah, it is a good deal, I just need to go inspect it closer and ask why it is out of the car in the first place. It needs some cleanig, which should be easy to do with it out of the car.

Welll, I know that there are 4.6 NPI manifolds with aluminum crossovers that you can get (cause I have one)...

I think it would probably be worth your time to check into what car this manifold came off of... 30 bucks is a great deal though.
