I need to have my gears installed and no one says they can do it that I have to take it to a ford dealership and they want any where from 500 to 900 dollars. Can anyone help on this subject

They can do it, they just don't WANT to do it.

Keep looking around...even if you have to go out of town. It's about a 1-2 hour job, so if you have to wait it won't be too bad..

I already have the gears I have the 3.73 they said it would only be 250 which isnt bad at all.

i got mine done for 200 bucks and they didnt even make me buy the installation kit they had the parts there but of course that was at blue oval corral over in clearwater, fl-i went to olin mott and they wanted 500. so def look around to your performance shops

Yeah... I can get it done here in TX for between $200 and $250. Good price.

or you can do it for a price of your own labor... if you have a hook up with a lift.... 200 isn't a bad deal either...

I dont think a gear change os something for a newbie to try. No telling what you would mess up... espically the shims.
