do you live in CA or something? i dont think long tubes will fail you in the emissions test, if you have a catted mid pipe.

Ya I do, and if the state makes you go to like a state testing, your screwed. Iv'e heard of this one dude that had to go to one of those, and they failed him for havin a cold air intake/ bassani x pipe with cats. Theytold him it was cause it was aftermarket. f'd up huh? When I have to go to pass I take everything off and set my programmer back to stock, I also bring it in there really hot. (warmed up) So what do you think about the longtubes? It would really complete my package of mods. Or should I get those bbk equal lengths. Those look good. I would of got those on my 5.0 but it wasn't worth like 3-4 more hp when you can't change some of the spark plugs, compared to just unequal length shorties. Thanks for the info

long tubes are alot better than equal lengths. ask mdvaldosta, hes pretty good at explaining why.

I guess it won't hurt to try and pass smog with the longtubes. I will just ask stupid and tell them I just bought the car off my buddy and he has the original headers. (if I fail) So they don't send me to a state testing. I already have to put my stock h-pipe on when i go, so I might as well take the long tubes off and the pro-chamber. That day is going to suck ***! LoL

Where do you live @ nomo? Also what about this, back to 3 & 4 valve. What if I buy later on down the road, the 4 valve package (heads,computer,etc) and find the ford stock roots type blower on ebay? Someone that is selling it cause their 03 cobra isn't enough, so they get a kenne bell. Will all that work with my two cams? Or am I just in cheap dream land again? Or should I just shut the f up, leave my car how it is, and buy a vortech?

i live in va...no emissions! dude if i were you, ide buy a 03 cobra motor with tranny. you woudlnt have to worry about blowing the motor up, and it aleady has a supercharger. i see them on ebay all the time.

I know I want to, but none of my upgrades will really even if fit on that motor, will they? How much do those motors w/ tranny cost when you see them? I might just keep all my parts for another mustang.
