I just put on my Bassani X-pipe w/cats and a SLP Loudmouth I catback on my 01 GT. THe car sounds a heck of alot nicer and louder. I can feel a little bit of a change, but will i notice a differance in my track times? I talked to some guys at my work who had mustangs and they said i should see a change. Let me know what you guys/girls think.

very minimal gains with an exhaust as far as 1/4 mile times go. Mostly to help engine breath better and sound

ya they said it would knock off a few tenths...which isnt that bad...we all have to start somewhere

You'll probably see .2 to .3 tenths off your 1/4 mile times with the open exhaust. But with your engine exhaling better, you need some intake mods. You'll notice a decent gain with a tb/plenum combo and a cai. I bet your car sounds pretty good man.

ive got a K&N CAI...my next step is either TB and Plenum combo or the tri ax....

remember its only a 2v, id say .1 if your very consistant. but in reality id say less then one tenth.
