Found a complete stock 03 Supcharger with intake, MAF, rail and injectors, plumbing, 2.8 pulley, T/B, and intercooler..... we will be installing this on a 99 cobra 4.6, non blown obvisously. Now the 99 has all your typical bolt on goodies, CAI, UDP's, full exhaust, custom tune thanks to Dan the man, 4:30 gears, and a Tri-Axx. So can anyone tell me how much stuff we are going to run into trying to make this happen? I know we will need an upper intake set of course but other then that, can anyone give us some insight? Any brackets? Anyone know of some instructional anywhere? We are somewhat mechanically enclined or would have never taken this project on. Just looking for a heads up so we can be prepared going into this. Also, lets say one year from now we want to put a Vortech or whatever blower on the car replacing the Eaton. Is this going to be an issue also????

its not worth it you have to get an adapter MADE to put that blower on i dont think anyone makes one so it would have to be fabbed if you want a vortech later get the vortech now

adaptor?? what adaptor?? I have the cobra intake and the blocks are both 4.6 blocks.

i do not beleive (i may be wrong) that the cobra intake will bolt onto a sohc ... i asked the same question as you and am only passing the info i recieved but it would be an adapter to put the intake from the cobra onto the sohc 4.6

Well, hes not putting it on a SOHC, hes putting it on a 99 cobra

4.6 Cobra...that intake is the same. Not to worried about the intake fitting, just all the little stuff
