ORIGINAL: not stok 04

if you raced from a roll ud get him if hes stock
+1. I took an evo on the highway. He was stock. That was back when i had stock gears but i had all the other stuff. Those are rally cars they are not top end cars. They have really tight gearing. On the highway they suck. I went down to 3rd and he went to third and i just ran away from him. We raced from a light though and he whooped me but i started to catch him in 3rd. Not enough to beat him in the 1/4 though. That was an 04 evo. Ive raced an older one and beat him at the track but that was the first evo 8's like 02 or something. And that was with my gears in.

that is good to hear[sm=pimp.gif]

even from a dig you have a fighting chance... most evo drivers are scared to lauch at a high RPM, and that's the only way to lauch them with out having them bog out... I've seen evo's run 14's becuase they couldn't launch it.... either way though an evo is not something to take lightly, especially with out some major modifications... exhaust, intake, and programmer isn't going to improve your power-to-weight ratio that much... afterall the subraru forester weighs LESS than a new-edge GT
