CAI question

RE: CAI question
Blah![:'(] The reason I decided to replace mine was the indentation near the throttle body. The Tunable is the same size all the way through, although I did have to use their adapter to go to my tiny throttle body.
For MPG, I always write down the miles and gallons. I also keep a maintenance log in the same book. It's good to track your mileage...if you notice a sharp downturn in mileage that can't be explained by weather/driving then you can attack a problem before it starts causing problems.

Cool Stuff man !!!! Interesting that a filter can make such an improvememnt in mileage. Must be less pumping losess and maybe better fuel atomization.
My bomz aluminum intake pipe is narrower diameter than the stock rubber one. I noticed that at the bent the stock rubber one is fluted or cerrated but it also has larger diameter.
It makes me wonder if the stock one is just as good overall.
Wish I had a flowbench or at least a good MPG meter.

RE: CAI question
does anyone else with a fenderwell CAI have trouble in rainy weather? I've heard of the fenderwell sucking up water from the road or something like that. I haven't had problems so far.
