Default Whats up guys, Long time no talk... What do you think about this Car & Deal?...

I'm looking at this 1995 Yellow GT Auto 5.0 for $4 grand... What do you guys think about this...

The good: $4,000 / 77k miles / Loaded / Leather / 460 sound / Original Owner / Clean Carfax / Near Perfect Body / Good Interior Condition

The Bad: Steering feels "loose", Needs New radio head unit, Automatic shifter cable needs to be adjusted (you have to pull it down farther than drive to make go in drive, is this expensive to fix?), Needs new brakes, Makes a strange slight whining noise from engine when listening under hood, Needs new belts, Motor Aluminum is slightly corroded.

What do you guys think about this car for $4,000? He was asking $4900, i got him down to 4. The car itself is straight, great body, no rust ... just the things i listed above. How much would it be to fix those things?

Think its a good deal?

I would take it to a good mechanic and have it looked at if he lets you do that. If not, the price isn`t bad if everything about the car is true. $4000 would be my max, but I would try to get him down a little more.

It may just be the ball joints. It can also be the steering rack. IDK... If it`s the rack, that can be very expensive. If you think the steering is that bad and really want the car, I would have someone take a look at it before you hand him the $$$.
