Default Questions about Vortech Race Valve

Sorry for double posting, just thought I might get more answers in here.

I just got the Vortech S trim kit and I have the Air-Air intercooler. With it came a mini Race bypass valve. Here are my questions...

1). When I have this welded do I need to drill a hole and have the flange welded over the hole?
2). Which pipe should this go on, the hot pipe leading into the intercooler or the cold pipe leading into the intake?

Sorry if its an ignorant question but the install guide was not very helpfull.

Thanks,

E.

Default RE: Questions about Vortech Race Valve

I'm going to say the "hot Pipe". Because the air redirects back into the intake side of the supercharger. Where did you get the air to air intercooler? I'm looking one myself....
