didnt know that you could stroke it past a 5.0. why not just get a 5.4 navigator motor?

**** sean hyland. hes a bitch and all of his stuff is overpriced. you really wanna pay over $6k for a shortblock? i think not. you can buy a complete 5.4 navigator motor for under 1500, stroke it to a 6.0 with all forged parts. do head work, cams, and be way under 6000.

I agree with nomo, If you really, really, really, want a 5.2 wait till they drop in price. Boycott their a$$ till they do. Nomo how much more does the 5.4 weigh, compared to the 4.6? roughly

I'm with these guys.... cheaper and more reliable to buy a new engine.

The whole aftermarket for the 4.6 is overpriced. The cheapest stroker kit I've seen for a 4.6 to 5.0 is about $3,000. Well **** that. You'd get much better results with a blower if you're going to spend that much money. Try to find a used Cobra engine or something like that. Stroking a 4.6 just isn't cost effective at all right now.

If you bored it out that much wouldnt you be running a big risk of EASILY cracking it. I mean there would be almost nothing left after you bore it that much. Or am I thinking wrong?
