Short version, yes.
When it comes to the vin, I am talking about the number stamped in by Ford that the whole world identifies the vehicle by.
Longer version, while your saving some "beer money" every month, if anything happens to your ride, your getting the same payout I would, only I didn't just drop a 32v Supercharged engine into my GT so that I could save a few bucks. (my quote was around $40 bucks a month more for a Cobra vert instead of my GT) on insurance instead of just getting a Cobra and paying the bill. How long would it take for that $40 bucks a month to offset the cost of the "upgrade"? 'Bout 15 years or so? I'll pay the bill......
...yes, I work in auto insurance. Does it show.
