Default $2150 for install and tune???

I have a procharger(D1SC w/3 core intercooler) that needs installing. I purchased a ford GT Fuel pump, SCT 90mm MAF , a AEM EUGO Wideband air fuel guage, electrical fuel guage and boost guage and various guage pods. This price also includes painting my instrument panel guage pod to match the interior. I called my local shop and was quoted $2150 for an install, handheld predator tuner and tuning. Does this sound right?? If so grand total for being boosted so far is $7,500 and some change. I think I'll go throw up now.

Install it yourself and just get it tuned. Tuning should only run 300-500...

Haha rice burner! jm. Yeah those s/c kits arent that hard to do. Just do it yourself or get a mechanic buddy to help. Its good, though, that you're getting your mustang faster than your ricer. Its the order of the food chain. Your 4 banger shouldnt be faster than ur 8. lol

my shop told me about 1000 for install and tune of my vortech...and a handheld tuner should be about 380ish...so...not more than 1500 total. mines non intercooled tho...but still...maybe another 200 for the intercooler...2150 seems awfully steep though.

You're getting real close to a twin turbo set-up for that price.

7.5K is way to high for a purchase/install and tune for a D1SC IMO.

Save your throw up for when you put a .50 slug in a terrorists skull.
