i got a 98 gt it is in the shop getting the sq vortech supercharger now (8 psi), i have msd ignition, 9 mm ford racing wires, hypertech power programer, mac off road h pipe, flow master 2 chambers, mac short shifter. i get my car back tommorow and was thinking about heading to bowling green or clay city let me know.

I leave the line at 2,300 Rpm on my street tires. And 3,500 on the slicks

Get some radials or slicks, launch the highest you can without bogging lol

I don't drive a stang, but it sounds good to me. There are quite a bit of suspension mods you can do to really get a good launch too. W/ that blown horse, you may want to start looking into that. Congrats. I can't wait to get my Vortec. Peace.

with street tires, you have to mess with it and find that sweet spot where it doesn't bog or spin the tires... start low in the rpms( 1500-2000rpms) and work your way up.. like dan had mentioned, if you have slicks or DR's, launch as high as you can...

I launch at 1500 max, but i have 4:10 gears so im not much help...
