Find out which bearings were spun. The rod bearing or the crank bearing. If its the rod, youll probably need to replace the rod and possibly the crank. If its a main bearing then the block might be trashed depending on the severity. Bearings in an automotive engine arent roller bearings. Theyre semi-circular pieces of metal that when your engine builds up oil pressure form a film of oil between the the bearing and the crank or rod. So in essence your crank is riding on a film of oil. When you spin a bearing it plugs up the oiling holes. On that particular journal the crank will be riding metal to metal. The bearing can actually weld itself to the crank. If that happens on a main bearing you WILL need to replace the crank, and possibly the block if the locating groove spun all the way around and grooved the block.

Oh i wanna drive a car with low gears an a ton of power. I Bet u guys its gonna suck when i have to go drive off in my Little ***** V6 for the ride home. Im hoping he dosnt come with me.
Anyother questions u guys can think of besides the ususal ones and the whole spun bearing and rebuild. Like should i be worried if he installed some of the perfromance parts?
