Ok, so after driving my 5.0 around for a while, I realized tha my exhaust on my bullitt is too quiet. I was thinking of upgrading it(and keeping the stock exhaust kit of course!). Now the SSS exhaust system thats advertised on sale looks great, are there any recommendations on brands that have great performance and sound? Oh, and BTW, would I really get much better performance(im mainly doing it for the sound) from an upgraded exhaust when changing from the bullitt exhaust? Thanks

As far as performance, an aftermarket exhaust will difinitely give you more power than your stock pipes. As far as sound, it's personal preferance.

In my opinion, NOTHING sounds better than Flowmasters. Some agree, some disagree. Go to mustangexhaust.com to listen to some sound clips of different exhaust set ups.

40 series sound the best on mustangs.

I think the 40 series and 2 Chamber sound the best. They both have a solid deep and aggressive tone.

I have a friend who has the loudmouth 1's with the slp o/r x pipe... They are LOUD! Thats one exhaust set up you'd have to hear in person to actually believe it's even a car.
