Nice, you're getting a good life - i have no direct experiance, this is what people gave me when I asked this same question that have used the tires... but in all fairness they go to the track... The 12k on the nittos is what most people will get when going to the track 6-12 times a year making 2-3 passes... and that's from people that i know directly with Cobras and GT's, that do that exact thing. Most people that I know get around 5-8k on thier MT, BF's depending how much they go to the track.. but a few people I know that have these tires say that.. but who knows exactly... they aren't the most "sane" drivers anyway, haha

you could change all 4... 245/45/17 = 275/40/17

and i misread that you had 18s on... you can but i wouldnt think you'd want to.. you could get away easier with 18 in the rear and 17 on the front... unless you buy a d/r with a high sidewall... this way you offset the 1inch

I was wanting to get the bf goodrich drags but i heard they are terrible in the rain. I wanted to have them on because with street tires and 4.10s i spin all day long.
I know your pain & that's why I got the DR's. I have the 555R's now, but my next set will be the MT's. It not my daily, so I'm gonna get some more grip!

You all are lucky. I live on a dirt road and the roads here suuuuuccckkkk becuase colorado doesnt know how to effectively use tax dollars so i cant get drag radials. Driving on a dirt road everyday will eat them alive. What i want to do is get a set of 18x10's with some nice hard sidewalls for driving on the street and for road coarse but then get a set of 16x10's with some straight up drag tires on them for strickly track use. Thow um in my buddies truck and swap um out at the track.

You mean 15's, you have WAY more tire choices on a 15 inch rim than a 16. Most all REAL drag wheels are a 15 inch. This is because the taller sidewall is better for traction at the strip
