i am willing to bet that its the belt tensioner. I'm sure you know where that is. Mine was making a squeaky sound for a while and I just had it replaced.

it's faint in the vid, but if you turn up your speakers a lil, the moment I let off it makes a nasty belt squeel...... so I ruled out the TQconverter being an issue, becuase it just sounds like a belt slipping.... but I have no idea why, where, or what

i get the SAME exact sound, i have an auto w/ a shift kit. when i shift 3,000+ rpms into second, i either get the squeek, or my tires screech. i know for a fact that when my tires let loose i dont get the sound, so my guess is.

Rear Sway Bar. I truly dont know. a few weeks back i found my rear sway bar loose, and i never had gotten that sound before. after i tightened it down, i started to get it. i may try to grease it up and see if it helps. but i really think, since the car is shifting at wot or near wot conditions, it wants to kick the rear end out, but you're suspension grips..and with 300 ft lb's of tq, i dont find this unlikely.

Thats definitely a belt sqeek. Take the belt off and check it for cracks and such. Replace it if necessary, and make sure to check out the belt tensioner and make sure it is properly routed

Check the belt of course. Also, belt tensioner and pulley and maybe even the idler.

Change the belt cause mine did the same thing. It was slipping on the crank pulley

i have a brand new belt, good tensioner, and pulley. same sound.

why would the drive belt SLIP during shifts? if he got that sound consistently under throttle, at higher rpms or under load, i would say it could be.

*edit*

and like i said, when my tires break loose on my 1-2 shift, i dont get the sound, when they grip, i get it, which links it to the driveline/suspension, imo. cars are complex, so i may be wrong.

my car shifts inconsistently, im sure it varies on temperature, load, and other things. so sometimes its rougher then others at the same rpm. i can break loose everytime at 3000 rpms when i manually shift, automatically shifting i can shift at 4,500 and have it grip, and you feel it wanna kick out, but it doesnt quite to it, thats when the sound he gets, is duplicated, in my car.
