I stopped by Texas Hot Rods today for a tune on the SCT eliminator chip I bought from them. The base run on their mustang dyno came up 260.1rwhp/309.5rwtq on the canned chip tune. Kind of disappointing at first due to the mods I had, but Brian (the owner) showed me that my air/fuel was a bit lean. He then starting working on the air/fuel maf settings.

Second run was 272.4 rwhp @ 4817rpm 329.7rwtq @ 3781rpm

More tuning followed

Third run was 277.0 rwhp @ 4665rpm 340.1rwtq @ 3601rpm

More tuning followed

Fourth run was 280.3 rwhp@ 4920rpm 343.2rwtq @ 3838 rpm

I never imagined that I would get another 20 rwhp by dyno tuning a chip that already had a bump in performance. However a 34 ft/lb jump in torque blew my mind! Brian did an awesome job! He really took his time and made sure that my car had an aggressive and most importantly SAFE tune. Texas Hot Rods is awesome!!! They really know what they're doing. You should see some of the rides and projects that they are working on. I'm hooked on these guys!!!!

I was expecting around 270ish judging from most on the forum but when 280 popped up I was psyched. I can't wait to get cams now.

you've gained 55-50 rwhp from stock with full exhaust, plenum/tb, udps, and a chip? of course only with precise tuning. Thumbs up.

Those are huge numbers, i would be happy with 260 on full boltons.

I've got underdrive pulleys too but I don't know if they added anything. I am sold on dynotuning. I've got a 2000-2500 stall converter waiting to go in once I get some some 3.90 gears. That'll definitely wake her up.

Everyone that said find a good dyno tuner was right. Theres more hp to be found on the dyno. I want 300 rwhp n/a (or a little more of course).
