Yea i agree, black stangs look just fine non-tinted. Like i said, it depends on the application. Yellow stangs just look extremely aggressive with tinted out tails. And if you're in Indiana, they are legal to any level. Manufacturers make them so that they are tinted/blacked when not lit, but fully funtional when lit.

i'm thinking of blacking-out my whole car, all lights, and the "GT" logos as well. just leaving the silver lip on the rims.

depends on the car...for your car...i wouldnt get the headlight tints definitely. maybe the taillights...but not the headlights. i would prolly just get some clear corners since white on white on white on white on white seems to be your theme lol. i mean maybe it could look good...but im skeptical.

check out the chop section...ask someone to photoshop some on to see how you like it.

but in actual answer to your question...not ricey id say.

Walmart lol. All i got for mine is walmart window tint, and it worked just as well as your top-dollar stuff. Cost me like 15 bucks, compared to like 60 for the 'good' stuff.

And hey, Gar4pt6, PM or post me a rear pic of your stang and ill photoshop them black for you, so you can get an idea.

ORIGINAL: andrewclark

is there a legal limit for how dark ur taillight tint can be? or is it the same as window tint? cause i would be pissed if i ran into someone on a dark rainy day because they had a cover and i didnt see any brake lights. and it ended up being my fault
If you rear end somebody it is pretty much always going to fall on you, but if it is a dark and rainy night and you don't see brakelights (and assuming your not approaching a big fat red light where you would know the guy ahead is gonna slow down) some negligence could be placed on the front car. In the end, the majority will fall on the guy in back, after all, you knew the car was there.....

Back to the thread....

Looks tight on white and yellow....and blacking out an already black...right on the mark!

Agree with the others, I would leave my headlights alone...I need those to see

Not sure blacking out would look good on my green though, backside is dark as it is, and Ford didn't do so bad on em.
