Default which car

hey guys i just sold my integra and i was looking at this 97 gt with a pi swap its an 02 motor with 10k on it but with me being a highscool student with a $7 an hour job im worried about this whole gas crisis thats why im sort of leaning back to a 99 turbo gsr that will give me better gas mileage but a lot of these tegs get stolen but i want a fast car too wich both are the turbo'd teg the guy said it dyoned @ 270-280 range which is a little over the gt that im looking @ so i guess my main q is which car and they are both the same prices and which car will be faster i know most of all of u hate imports but im into both so give me what u think

thanks guys

and please no haters

Haha, good luck asking people to not be biased. This is a mustang board.

You should get some pictures up! How many miles on the body of the 97?

Sounds like money is an object here, so go with the GSR. Insurance will be cut in half, gas will be cut in half. You're missing out on the fun of torque and RWD, but you will save yourself thousands over a few years.

i didnt buy a mustang because it was bad in snow, expensive, and got relatively bad gas milage. i bought it because its a mustang and i have been in love with them for as long as i can remember. with the gas prices and all that i wanted to make sure i owned a v8 stang now when i barely can afford it so i dont regret not getting one later in life.

if your looking for a cheap quick car than the integra is probably your better bet.

I was paying right at 3200 a year. 00 GT vert. On the escalade, its 1800 a year...This is with homeowner discount, good student discount, drivers ed discount, multiple car discount, basically every discount the insurance company offered. Thats full coverage with a $500 deductible.

Id go with the gt, i pay about 270 a month for insurance, and its worth every penny, my friend has a 97 gt and he pays 175 for full coverage, the mustang will probably cost you more in the long run, but noting beats american muscle, plus it looks better, and will sound way better.

(parts will also be easier to find for the gt, and it will probably have less problems with only 10k on the engine)
