King Cobra Clutch Throwout Bearing

I recently purchased a King Cobra clutch for a 99 GT. I have heard mixed reviews regarding the throwout bearing that comes with the kit. Should I purchase different throwout bearing or is the one that comes with it sufficient. I have only minor mods to my car so HP would not be a concern.

Also, I am wanting to purchase an inexpensive firewall adjuster as well. Any suggestions and the cheapest place to get one would be appreciated. I should be getting everything the middle of this week.

Thanks for your help guys!

What tranny comes in the 99 gt? Today I saw a Timken throwout bearing on Ebaymotors for like $10. I think it was for Borg-Warner though. I don't think you should have a problem, I have never heard anything bad, but not for sure.

Chris, you'll want a Ram #501 from Summit.

Nothing is bad about the KC TOB.... it's just the same as the OEM TOB where the Ram is a heavier , better built unit and can take a bit more abuse.[8D] While you have the tranny out , might as well upgrade the TOB for ~ $30..........

Thanks for the help Jay, ordered the triple hook quadrant and firewall adjuster from UPR last night, hopefully I can get everything in to have installed this weekend. Also ordered the TOB from Summit last night, thanks again for the info.
