Default Weight transfer...

Im looking for springs that drop my car some and are still good for transfering weight for launching. Kind of compromising looks and launching. Would Ford Racing C-Springs do the job? They are supposed to lower the car 1"-1.25". I believe they leave the back end up a little higher than the front, which would help launches...

I don't think springs are the parts of the suspension that you should look at when worrying about weight transfer. They just help in cornering and they can actually sometimes hurt 1/4 mile times. The shocks/struts and control arms are probably what you want to focus on. For a drag setup, you want stiff shocks in the back, and very soft ones in the front. Lower control arms will help with some weight transfer and it will eliminate wheel hop if you have any.

If you want springs mainly to drop the ride height, I would recommend bullitt springs. I think they only drop the car .75"

What I meant is, I heard springs like Eibach's actually hurt launches. I was wondering if FR C-springs would not HURT my launch, not make them better...?

And also, would I need c/c plates on a 1.5' drop? I believe I read that only if it's closer to 2' that you need them.

Any high performance lowering springs you buy will hurt your launch. They are ment to tighten up you car and eliminate flex which is not nessicarily what you want to do on a drag car. You best bet is adjustable coil overs. Ill be the first to admit have the worst launches becuase i built my car to do road racing and for handling. With the coil overs you can change them for street or strip or track. THere is no best of both worlds but thats the closest it comes.
