no question a 2v sohc will never see near that power without major work, heads, full b/o's, fi, nitrous, ect...must be a mistype

ie: rwhp 307 rwhp 344

maybe the 307 is tq, and 344 is meant to be 244. now that would make sense.

244/307 is much more believable.

other than that, im stumped.

Unless it has a DOHC swap or major cam/head work, that Dyno wasn't properly configured because there is absolutely no way for your car to make that HP N/A without major work.

You'd be lucky to put down 240RWHP with your mods on a properly loaded dyno.

a couple weeks ago i brought my 99 GT with 60000miles to a dyno shop and got my car dynoed. I pulled 307rwhp and 344rwhp with just a cold air intake, diablo predator tuner, 3.73 gears and i think a 40 series flowmaster exhaust that was on my car when i bought it and the cats are still attached. Just wondering if this was good results for my car. Oh and it was a brand new mustang dyno.

thanks
ahh, no. maybe the guy put a turbonator on the car and you dont know. i would say 230-235 max. you pulled 307 then 344 rwhp? is one of those numbers supposed to be tq? you could shoot a 75 shot nitrous and get those numbers, maybe.

Yeah the dyno is wrong. F dyno's. Everyone remembers the drama that happened to me a few weeks back. They dyno'd my car at 187 hp and 220 trq. A 00' 4.6 V-8 with LT's and full bolt ons. Yeah they wouldnt admit that they f'd up and i was out the money. Whatever just go somewhere that you know is really reputable and somewhere that seems really professional. Dude id just take that time slip and run with it lol. Be like yeah so my Gt is over 300 hp at the wheels what now. Just dont race anyone haha.

That would be high even more the crank. Besides you have to have an engine dyno for that. In otehr words you have to take the engine out and put it on a stand alone dyno. Im going to have to go with gordo on this one and say the only answer is a turbonator. Nothing else would really put out that kind of HP numbers
