Default NEED HELP RUNNING HOT!

ok so heres the deal after doing all my PI swap with the ported heads the car runs hot! i've cleaned the radiator i took it to a shop where they dip it in acid and do all other sorts of stuff my water pump is fine is circulates the water. I dont run a t-stat because if i put one on it doesnt work it just runs hotter i have my fans connected directly to a switch i have them running all the time its got coolant i just dont know wat to do. before my PI swap it was fine it was always at half after the PI swap with the ported heads its just running really hot it gets up to three quarters up to the A and sometimes the L i cant used the A/C cause it will run hotter. Does anyone know why my car is running hot? could it because i'm running a 10 to 1 compression? do i need a bigger radiator??

From what I'm told, our cars after the PI Swap would run a little hotter than usual. I really haven't noticed anything major along those lines. You should run a T-stat.

Not running a tstat is bad and could be your problem. When you dont have a tstat your water flows through the system very fast, which means less time in the radiator to cool the water. You need to either install a tstat or get a restrictor and put it in. I cant think of where to get one right now. But check out the sites that sell race parts because most engine builders and racers know that it is bad to not have anything in there.
