a new vortech kit isnt 2k...you might be able to find a used on on ebay for that much tho...but make sure you get the whole entire kit. not just the blower and main bracket.

its a tuner kit man...no FMU, no chip, no fuel pump, no injectors. its just the blower, main bracket, and inake piping.

what do you guys think of kenne bell? it claims that on a stock gt with stock exhaust, to put 502 to the ground with 14 psi. seems high to me. the whole kit, with injectors and boost-a-pump was like 5k. it also said that it would be a waist of time to put headers on b/c they only give you 5-10 more hp with the supercharger compared to not having them. jdaniel, your car must sound like a freakin nascar. you should put i big #8 on the side . how is the drone on the highway?

14# of boost is too much for a stock GT. Long tubes are going to get you more than 5-10 HP, especially with boost. Are you willing to spend 5K? Have you considered turbo instead of a supercharger? The turbos are more expensive than superchargers, but are definitely superior. just a thought. 5K can get you lots of mods!

i agree with you 100% a friend of mine turned me onto this turbo kit for the stangs, seems pretty cool, it cost 4k for everything, but at 8 psi, it gave it the same hp as supercharger at 14 psi. do you have turbo on yours?

No boost at all for me.

You just don't see too many people putting on a turbo but they definitely rock.

??????????too much for a stock GT??????????????? what exactly do you mean by that... a blower kit with exhuast will work fine. of course you will need to get a tune, but thats it.
