I like it, but change those wheels stat. They look really crappy/"poor" on that car.

And as far a black car goes, I love mine. Its a bitch to keep clean and up close you can see swirls, but wash it, wax it, and take a few steps back, and then tell me it doesnt look sweet. Black ftw.

I'm planning for a corvette for my next midlife crisis But, after hearing how low that thing is, I am having second thoughts.

Nice ride. That thing needs some new rims though.

If you wouldn't mind me giving you some advice on future mods, here it is: LS6 Heads and intake, and a cam(not the ls6 cam, because ls6 heads work well with pretty much any cam), and I see you have exhaust. YAY!

wow it IS in really good condition for a 99...but i thought the coupes were Z06 only?...when did they produce a standard coupe?...and i'm not talking about the hatch...+1 on the rims even though they are stock...get some black C6 DD rims and the fixed HID headlights...smoke the tails and front corners and get the Z06 brake ducts...good to go!...also IDK what exhaust is on there but the Magnaflow and Corsa exhausts sound DAMN good on the C5s...actually...kinda funny....my dad's friend was ordering a 01 Yellow C5 and it took too damn long to get delivered so he got a yellow S4 instead (going through the yellow car phase) and he ended up trading the S4 for a Zinc Yellow 03 GT...which he then traded for a Black 06 C6....lol...you guys have similar tastes in cars!...but the low ride height and uncomfortable ride from the run-flats...and being spanked on the autoX courses by the AWD cars is making him want to trade again...this time for a STi

The coupes you are referring to are known as FRCs-Fixed Roof Coupe.

Not sure on that, I know they are fairly rare. They usually are higher priced because most of them came with HUD, Z51 suspension, and m6 with 3.42s in the rear. They are usually 2-3k higher than a regular vette with the targa.

Sweeeeeeeeeet!

Have fun with a black car.......

::goes and kicks my car::
+1, there is no way the paint is perfect... im sure you have already found a flaw somewhere in the paint, when you wash it im sure you will.
yeah the car wont stay clean for more than two or three days after you wash it... and after a week looks like youve never washed it. and i can see every little nick and scratch on my car (THERS ALOT!) but when you get black clean and shiny its the best color to have.

and that c5 is sick!... get some DARK tints and new wheels and that thing would look damn SEXY!
