Default Torque loss with O/R midpipe

How much do you lose when you go with an O/R? I'm considering going with an O/R Prochamber eventually but I don't want to lose too much HP/TQ. Or is it just worth it for sound quality alone? Just lookin for some opinions, thanks.

Personally I like my catted prochambered. You wont gain much with the offroad pipe anyway.

I thought you normally lost a lil torque down low with the O/R but gained a couple of ponies up top? If there's really hardly a difference, I will go with O/R Prochamber. How does the O/R Prochamber compare in sound to the catted Prochamber? Some say the catted version isn't loud enough for them. I don't want something that is obnoxious (sp) but something that lets people know I'm there.

I swapped to an o/r H and catback at the same time.

Did'nt notice anything at all. Up high, or down low.

(and even if you lost 1-2 lb/ft of tq at 1500 rpm, would it matter? i've never tried to go fast fro m1500 rpm )

as for catted/uncatted
it depends on personal preference... what catback youre getting... and where you live

I have an o/r H with Borla Stingers. If I was someone who wanted to be able to hear themself think all the time. I wouldnt still have this set up. It's LOUD, and loud all the time, in the car or out. But not all catbacks will be as loud in teh car.

I know you reply to alot of my threads and probably think I change my mind all the time. If the loss is that little, then I'm just gonna go for sound then. The catback that is on the car I'm getting is Steeda, which I've heard is alot like Borla... but just a lil more quiet. I have been thinkin about going with the MRT, but I've had a few tell me lately that they had alot of drone with that. I don't know if I would think that is bad or not cuz I like hearing my exhaust. Alot of guys have said that the prochamber has great sound tho. Anyone know the quality and fitment of this mid-pipe?

of the MRT H? or the Prochamber??

reallly, ive heard nothing bad from either.

If youre going with the steeda catback, then you will probalby want to go with an o/r midpipe, and since MRT is a gazillion dollars, I would lean torwards an o/r Prochamber

should give you a nice deep tone, w/o too much noise inside, but still be plenty aggressive/loud when youre on it

Some of the cobra guys over on svtperformance said that they had some drone with the Steeda and MRT H. Don't know if it was catted or not. I've not hardly heard any negative comments on the prochamber so thats probably the route I'm gonna take. Thanks for helpin out guys.[sm=thanx.gif]
