What fog light bulb numbers do we have? I think their 899's? BTW, how the hell do you get the old bulbs out and new ones in?

899 or 893's fit, just crawl under there and twist it, to unlock it, pull it out, unclip it from the wiring harness, and pop a new bulb in there, insert back and twist it back into lock position

Mine were 899 and I have a 99. I think it varies by year (for whatever reason anyway).

I read in a different forum that even though the 893 will fit in the 899 socket they blow after a little while - does anyone have experience of this? Thanks,

There is a quick fix for the confusion about the bulbs... convert the fog lights to HID

So you can just replace the bulb on the fog lamps? My driver's side fog lamp just blew and I was thinking that I would have to replace the whole housing, and at ~$80 for a housing I wasn't a happy camper.

Yep, you can just replace the bulb, the standard replacements cost about $10 in any auto store, you can get upgraded ones for about double that. Go to autozone or somewhere like it and they will probably install it for free if you buy it there, it takes like 5 minutes.

Cool, thanks for the info. This is the first time I've had to replace the fog lamp bulbs on this car. I am still making the adjustment to the sn-95/New Edge cars. I'm used to the fog lamps beinga self contained unit like in the fox body GT's.

Yea , I just swapped out mine yesterday so now they work, first time since I bought the car.

Just lay under the car, look up and you'll see the harness,, unplug, twist to unscrew,,, pull out the bulb, put in new bulb, and rescrew in, then plug back in and you're fine
