Front tint is illegal here in IL as well. I have mine tinted. I think 50% is what I have. It looks much darker because of my dark interior though.

nice car man... all tint is illegal actually... but on our cars u can do back window and the 1/4 panel ones... go like 10% on those..... or 15%... i still liek to see at night so i dont like 5% on that..

you could go with 20% on the side windows and cops probably wouldnt really bother you..

or do what im gunna do, get a doctors note kinda thing saying ur eyes are sensitve to bright sunlight and u can have tint all around and cops cant give u **** lol...

but yea i need to get my cobra tinted... damn thing would look so much better.. ur only 40 mins north of me if ur near six flags...

Get a chrome style tint, it can be really light, people won't be able to see in and when someone goes up close to try to check for tint it won't really look like it is there. Mine absorbs VERY little light (50%? I don't know, it's next to nothing), but when the light is right, you can't see inside. Here's a picture as an exmaple.

Look closely, when trying to look into the tinted window you can not see through, yet, when you look through the windshield, you can see straight through the passenger side window to that 94 GT behind my car.
