Put a high stall torque converter in it. 4.10s and drag radials. Done.

that 2.250 is a decent 60", but if you get it around 2.0x you'll see a 13.9x... where are you shifting? That could be it too.. your car stops making power at 5500rpms... so if you shift to high, you're not getting anymore power past that.

xxkazp3rxx...i had a total of 6 runs, and my 60' times on my two best run's where 2.250 @ 14.4 & 2.247 @14.3...come to the chat room if u have time so we can talk a lil bit more

Go easy on it, my first time at the strip I ran a best of 2.15 on my cooper cobra crappy half-worn street tires. It was **** poor, lol, I just floored it in the burnout area, got 1/2 second of spin, then went to the line and when I took off I just dropped the clutch off idle and floored it. Not bad, but still **** weak imho. Give it time.

you should be in the 13's. Guy at my track has CAI, UDP, TB/Plenum, catback, and 3.73's and he runs 13.7-13.9's on street tires

2.25 leaves so much on the table its rediculous. For a first-timer its a good time and NOTHING! to be ashamed of, but dont be content with it by any means. Not knocking you, just trying to critique. When you can pull 1.8-2.0 on street tires, then you are doing about all you can do. Until then, keep whittling away!!! Every .1 there is a .2 at the end.

What can the 99-04's do? I know the 05+'s can hit 1.8X's as well as most other cars out there with a good driver and track prep and good stock tires (not worn out).

It takes a lot of practice, especially depends on where you live. Best I've ever done stock was 14.40 @97.
