Default 4.6 +10lbs = Boom

During a dyno run at the shop I work at a stock saleen rolled in with a 6lb Procharger decided he wanted more power so we put the 10 lb pulley on for him and guess what happened. Well take a look.

BTW this is a rebuilt motor by FORD. With less than 2000 miles on it.

10lbs is usually fine. I'd be upset with the shop...

shouldn't have had a problem upping the boost as long as the shop/tuner was competent in adjusting the tune....what shop was that you work at? [8D]

Look on the bright side, you have an excuse to buy a 4v motor now. Really sucks bro.

Eh, I'm there now, lol hell I was running 8psi. Then she went on me. Most of you might know my story. If not, go search for it. Anywho, that's why I'm getting an all forged bottom end on a brand new shortblock. Hopefully all will be done by end of next week. Here's hoping.

And just think, the bigger 4.6 handles 12. Too bad they can't tune a car.
