well hes got a cobra with a 2.2 making 600 horse, he wants a stout clutch to beat on at the track

You do not need more than the stage 3. There is almost no chance you will ever be able to exceed the power rating of the stage 3, and there is padding in there like anything else anyway.


Spec is hardly budget. I have had 0 problems with my spec stage 3, and I have never heard of a mustang guy having a problem with em. Other than myself there are several other spec owners including code on this forum.

BTW, unless you are planning on major power down the road I would stick with the stage 2. The 3 is pretty much a on/off clutch, and it had quite a bit of pedal effort. Definatly not the clutch to have on a basically stock car thats a DD.
When you start to compare them to some other companies that most people on this forum have never heard about then yes the do look budget IMO. I guess it all depends on what you are used to dealing with. I am glad you guys are having good luck with them, but after my experiance as well as several other people that I know, I will not be reccomending them. I just think there are more choices out there that people don't ever consider.
