The centerforce dual friction line should work fine. I have used them and know others who have and none of us have experienced problems with them.

Sorry I was attempting to adjust it,no luck. With a 150 - 175 shot some where around 550- 600 On the torque?
How are you guessing 550-600 on the torque. The car is only rated at 305hp and 320 torque? Your getting almost 230 lb from a 15-175 shot? That doesnt seem right. But I am no nitrous expert

A 175 shot will put out at least 220 lb of torque, nitrous maks BIG torque, it's somthing that people often overlook.

King cobra!!!
Why because you have one? They are no the best choice for an application that will make the kind torque a 150+ shot of nitrous does. I reccomend the McCloud clutch but they are pretty exspensive, BUT you get what you pay in most cases. RAM has some good choices as well and I have had had good luck with both.
do you mean a McLeod clutch?

Have you looked at the pricing on their high performance clutch? Its right around a THOUSAND dollars!:

http://www.ddperformance.com/ford%20clutches.htm

Regardless of what they say, its not gonna be a really streetable clutch either. I liked my entry level mcleod, but there is no way I am gonna pay a grand for a freaking clutch!

Spec FTW. Sounds like a stage 2 would be about perfect for ya

Yes sorry I was not sure on the spelling. The car I drove that had one was not bad, really no worse than the SPEC 3 I had at the time. IMO a clutch is a like a torque converter, if you want a good one it is going to cost you.

I cannot see any reason anyone would run a mcleod street twin with a 2v 4.6 when they could spend a third of the money on a stage 3 spec or other brand of clutch.

The 2v will not make more torque than the stage 3s are rated at, and there are better ways to spend a grand than a clutch.

Put it this way, there is no advantage to having the street twin over a stage 3 clutch from almost any manufactuer on this guys car, or anyone else in 2v 4.6 for that matter.

My TQ #'s came form Brenspeed when they custom dyno tuned me a special SCT for the amount of N2O that I'll be using. I've did a lil home work and the spec Stage 3 says to be rated at 680 fl lbs ? Will I need stronger if I go for more bolt ons, Check out my list of mods on cardomain@

I assume your running a forged assembly? The stocker isn't gonna work with 600+ ft/lbs.

I have a hard time seeing you making that anyway though.

The rating of the stage 3 is fairly conservative. I doubt you will slip the clutch, but I could be wrong I guess.
